Projects:  Webb, Murray & Associates provides various fire protection engineering services for Dow’s Texas operations. Specific projects have included providing water spray and foam systems, fire pumps, fire detection, and alarm design packages for process units and design of fire protection features for marine terminals. Services have included

•  Providing preliminary and final design of fire suppression and fire detection systems for marine loading/unloading facilities and process areas. The designs include fire pump and water supply piping, fixed and manual foam/water suppression systems, and fire detection and alarm systems.
 
•  Developing equipment and installation specifications.

•  Providing cost estimates for all fire protection systems.
 
•  Reviewing vendor bids and drawings.
 
•  Performing acceptance testing.
