One customer’s experience with process hazards analyses (PHAs) serves as an example of how Webb, Murray’s experience and innovation brought valuable improvements.

Savings in Costs and Time

•  Webb, Murray & Associates reduced the cost of PHAs for this customer by approximately $1,000,000, based on the prior contractor’s cost per P&ID in a three-year period.

•  We reduced the time requirements for the customer’s PHA team by 34% as a result of preloading, preplanning, templating, etc.

•  We trained new team leaders one-on-one to improve startup and day-to-day work on PHAs.

•  We consistently assisted PHA team leaders to improve startup.

•  We developed a requirements guidance document to help the customer’s team leaders start and complete PHAs more efficiently.

•  We co-developed HAZPRO, the first Windows-based PHA recording tool.
